These truly unique and beautiful earrings are made with rosecut orange kyanite stones that have the most beautiful, earthy orange color, and magical opalized wood stones from Indonesia.
The stones are set in sterling silver with 14k gold-filled (earring wires and top circle) and brass (balled wire joinery) accents. They have sterling silver posts soldered to the back of you would prefer to were them as posts - state your preference in a note upon purchase. They are approximately 1.75” long including earring wire and the opal wood stones have an open back.

Wood opal is formed over thousands of years when silica-rich groundwater seeps into buried wood and replaces the organic matter over time. The water in the silica is rich in dissolved minerals, typically copper, iron, and manganese.
Those deposits result in a variety of colors and patterns, depending on the type of wood and the amount of opalization.
