This unique pair of earrings is made from two shimmery pieces of silky sapphire set on sterling silver base plates that are cut to highlight the angular geometry of the stones, and include a solid 14k gold accent bead at the bottom. They are set in silver bezels, and attached to the stones are two hand textured silver bars that add an organic feel. The earrings are suspended from 14k gold-filled earring wires and a 14k gold filled jump ring has been soldered to the top.

Sapphire is said to help alleviate tension and restore balance within the body by aligning the physical, mental, and spiritual planes, bringing serenity and peace of mind.

I try to use every bit of metal on my bench and not let anything go to waste.
