A truly stunning Persian Turquoise stone has been set in a simple sterling silver setting to highlight the understated beauty of the stone. The band is made with a piece of textured sterling silver that measures between ~8mm and ~10.5mm, with the widest part of the band resting underneath the stone.

Size 9.5 (this ring can be stretched up to ~1 size larger)

Please note: Rings with wider bands often fit more snugly, therefore it is best practice to size up one half to one full size larger than your normal ring size.Turquoise is thought to be connected to the healing energy of water, the life-giving element that sustains the planet and the origins of life itself. This energy of renewal and rejuvenation is what gives the Turquoise its unique ability to support healing intentions and overall well-being and to help guide you to a state of calm and tranquility.

Use of the Turquoise dates as far back as 5500 B.C., when it was believed to prevent accidents and cure diseases of the head and the heart. One legend suggests that throwing a piece of Turquoise into a river will bring rain. Turquoise was known as a sacred stone to many Native Americans. Medicine men used Turquoise in their healing practices. Often carved into the shape of animals, Turquoise was placed in tombs, believed to guard the dead and invite protective spirits.

A Note About My Jewelry

I create powerful, unique, and sacred adornment crafted from Earth's finest gifts. All of my jewelry is hand-made and hand-finished, from natural and often recycled or repurposed materials. I try to use every bit of metal on my bench and not let anything go to waste. In this way, all my pieces are somehow related - melted, remelted, cut, recut, weaving together so many stories being told through the jewelry. No two items are exactly alike and my pieces will have natural imperfections - I believe it is these slight imperfections that give hand fabricated items their soulful character and appeal.
