This dreamy ring is made from a beautiful piece Peruvian Blue Opal with cloud-like white and sulfur yellow inclusions. It is set on a hand-textured sterling silver base plate, creating a rugged beauty that catches the light perfectly. The incredible color of the Peruvian opal stone is set off with my signature 18k gold accent beads. The band is made from a chunky piece of 14k gold-filled wire that has been lightly hammered, measuring 3 mm wide.

Peruvian Opal is a sedimentary rock formed from igneous rocks with high silica content. It is quite a rare stone that can only be found in the Andes Mountains near San Patricio, Peru. Peruvian opal resembles the colors of the Caribbean Sea and is said to radiate a soft and calm energy that can help ease tension in the body and clarify thoughts.
